Counseling for Children & Teens
Counseling can help your child or teen learn new ways to manage their feelings, behaviors, and thoughts in a better way. In addition, our therapists view the child's problems as the family's problem and expect parents to be involved in the therapy process on a regular basis. We find that having parents as part of the therapy process helps parents feel better about knowing what they can do to help their child navigate these tough times.
Counseling might be right for your child or teen if they are experiencing any of the following:
Anxiety and/or depression
Anger or irritability
Relationship or peer problems
Difficulty with family transitions
Grief and loss
Difficulty with social skills
